Pond Hockey is comprised of a team of four players competing against another team of four players with no goaltenders.  The game is played on an natural outdoor ice surface that is approximately 150ft by 75ft or 75% of a regulation ice surface.  A game is 30 minutes in length with two 15 minute halves.

•    Teams are made of 5 players per team – 4 players on the ice.  SUBSTITUTIONS ARE ALLOWED AFTER THE  OTHER TEAM GETS A GOAL
•    60 Teams are allowed, as this is the maximum capacity of the ice.
•    Teams are split into 3 divisions: Open, Seniors (45 plus) and Women’s
•    There will be a random draw to determine the schedule and the opponents.
•    All games are 30 minutes (two 15 minute halves).
•    Each Team is guaranteed 3 games between Friday and Sunday.
•    All teams should be prepared to play on the evening of Friday, March 23, 2012.
•    Scheduling requests may be considered.

NOTE: Tournament organizers reserve the right to limit the number of team entries based on scheduling dynamics.
